By accessing the Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival Society Video Archive, you acknowledge that you are accessing archive materials made available by the Society and agree to comply with the following Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of Research and Scope of Access
The user shall use the personal or restricted information contained in the Records exclusively for the historical/scholarly research project titled Magyar Tánc Akadémia Archive Material. No alternative or secondary use of the information is permitted without prior written consent from the Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival Society.
2. Non-Disclosure and Anonymization
The user agrees that no personal information or identifying characteristics of any living individual obtained from the Records will be published, disclosed, or disseminated in any form. Information must be anonymized or aggregated in all final research outputs, publications, or presentations.
3. Copyright, Copying, and Dissemination
All copies provided or downloaded from the archive are for the sole purpose of private study or research under the Fair Dealing provisions of the Canadian Copyright Act.
The user is responsible for obtaining any necessary copyright clearances or permissions from the copyright owner prior to any publication, reproduction, or commercial distribution, including online dissemination such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or other social media platforms.
4. Proper Citation and Attribution
The user agrees to properly credit and cite the source material in any resulting publication, thesis, or dance production.
5. Indemnification and Security Breaches
The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival Society against any claims, losses, or damages resulting from the user's unauthorized use or disclosure of the Records.
The user must immediately report any accidental disclosure or data breach to the Society.
